Hello! I'm glad I found this group--I will be going as an ALT to Minamisatsuma, Kagoshima. I was wondering if anyone knows who my predecessor is...? (If not, that's fine too haha)

Also, really broad question. I know it's supposed to be quite hot there; what is the general temperature like throughout the seasons? And how's the humidity?
