All the new JETs in Kagoshima will be in the city from August 22-23 for prefectural orientation. This is a great opportunity for us to welcome everyone to the prefecture with a dinner at Porto Casa's outdoor beer garden, with a great view of Sakurajima and Kinko Bay!
WHEN: Monday, August 22, 7~9pm
WHERE: Porto Casa outdoor beer garden, second floor of Dolphin Port
FOOD: Beer garden course with vegetarian options
DRINK: Two-hour nomihodai with beer, shochu, chuhai, juice, cocktails, and highballs
PRICES: ¥3000 for KAJET members, ¥3500 for non-members
If you're not a KAJET member, this is the perfect opportunity to sign up for membership! For an additional ¥500, you can sign up for membership when you arrive and then for all future events for the duration of the year, you'll be entitled to a KAJET membership discount (only current JETs are eligible for membership, though).
This event is not just for new JETs -- even though it's on a weeknight, if any veterans or non-JETs would like to join in, you're more than welcome!
